Why Cub Scouting?
Since 1916, Cub Scouts has helped boys and girls build character and leadership through outdoor adventure, hands-on learning, and service to their community. Kids have fun, learn life skills, and grow into confident, caring members of their community.
Families are part of the program, not spectators. One parent comes to every meeting and activity, siblings are welcome, and the Pack is 100% run by parent volunteers — who build strong friendships and enjoy the adventures too.

Pinewood Derby & Raingutter Regatta
Scouts build their own cars and boats, then race them at our two biggest competitions of the year.
Community Service
Placing 90,000 flags at the Los Angeles National Cemetery on Memorial Day, caring for the Westwood Greenway, planting trees in the Santa Monica Mountains, and schoolyard cleanups.
Den Meetings & Adventures
Same-grade dens meet twice a month to work through handbook Adventures, earn badges, and advance in rank — with plenty of games along the way.

Every year brings a new rank, new challenges, and new friendships — from the first den meeting in kindergarten to crossing over into Scouts BSA.

Find Your Den
Dens are grouped by grade and meet at the Riddick Youth Center. Most of our families come from Overland Elementary and St. Timothy School, and neighborhood friends and families are always welcome.

Dens meet at the Riddick Youth Center, across from Overland Elementary. The whole Pack comes together six times a year for our bigger events, plus a pack hike every month.
